Literary Tradition

SouthWest Germany has long inspired writers, poets and philosophers, such as Hermann Hesse, Friedrich Hölderlin, and Martin Heidegger. University cities and towns such as Heidelberg and Konstanz, Freiburg and Ulm are rich with literary memories. No wonder they attract students and lovers of literature not just from Germany, but from all over the world.
