Ötigheim: plays for the people

Ötigheim, celebrating 100 years of summer entertainment. June 25 to August 28

This century-old tradition seems to involve everyone in the village: as many as 600 take part each summer. It’s fun for the performers and fun for the audience!
 This season, the entertainment appeals to anyone from anywhere, with performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Peter Pan,” the tale of Tinkerbell, Captain Hook and of course, Peter Pan, the boy who will never grow up. Also featuring this summer are singer Semino Rossi, the Irish dance show “Magic of the Dance” and the pop duo Marshall & Alexander.
