Swabian Mountains Biosphere Reserve

Travel back in time to the origins of life on the planet in the Swabian Mountains Biosphere Reserve.

These limestone uplands are a treasure trove, with unique fossils from the Jurassic period, 150 million years ago. There are caves with stalactites, volcanic lakes, waterfalls, and thermal springs.
