Europa-Park - One of the World's leading Theme Parks
Welcome to Germany’s biggest theme park! North of Freiburg and just east of the Rhine River, it is one of the busiest in Europe: 210 acres/93 ha, with over 100 attractions, all reflecting the theme of Europe!
Experience Europe!
With 13 areas all themed for different European countries, from Iceland to Greece, there is plenty to explore. Ride the “Blue Fire Megacoaster”, take the family on the “Whale Adventures – Splash Tours” or the “Poseidon” water coaster. Like France? You’ll love the “Silver Star” and “Eurosat” roller coasters; right next door the “Matterhorn-Blitz” rushes through Switzerland. Mother Russia sends daring passengers on a trip to the stars with “Euro-Mir”, while Portugal is all about getting wet at “Atlantica SuperSplash”. There is so much going on, from jousting knights to clowns. And, of course, there is every sort of European and international cuisine as well!
Stay the night
After a fun day, you don’t have to leave. The park boasts five luxury hotels, each with a different Mediterranean atmosphere. Since summer 2012 you can enjoy the new 4-star Superior Hotel Bell Rock built in New England style. For a touch of Spain, choose between the 4-star hotel El Andaluz and the Castillo Alcazar; for Italian “dolce vita” in ancient Rome, there is the 4-star superior Hotel Colosseo; for Portuguese charm, check into the 4-star Superior Hotel Santa Isabel. The Camp Resort – just a few minutes’ walk from the main entrance of Europa Park – is like being in the Old West, with its log cabins, teepees, campfires and covered wagons. Europa-Park is in Rust, 110 miles/180 km southwest of Stuttgart.
In 2013 the Europa-Park fairytale continues…
200 years after the first edition of “Children's and Household Tales” was published by the Brothers Grimm, Rapunzel, Doctor Know-all and the Golden Goose are finding a new home. From the summer season 2013, they will live in the magical Enchanted Forest at Germany’s largest theme park, where they will have great fun with Euromaus and his friends. When the themed area is expanded, a total of six more stories by the Brothers Grimm will find a place in the Enchanted Forest. There’s plenty to discover!
