The Triberg Waterfalls
One of the highest waterfalls in Germany, the 535-ft/163-m Triberg Waterfalls are an impressive sight: seven steps of foaming, roaring water as the River Gutach tumbles through the forest. It’s a perfect destination for hiking enthusiasts!
On the trail leading to the falls, there are information panels about this natural wonder. From April to late October, the falls are illuminated until midnight. You can even hike there in winter. Two trails are cleared of snow and the falls are illuminated till 10pm. It might be cold, but it’s quite magical!
