Tripsdrill theme park

Germany’s first theme park, is in the countryside just outside Stuttgart. Erlebnispark Tripsdrill opened back in 1929. Today, there are 100 attractions for all ages, including the new Mammut wooden roller coaster, where you reach speeds of 50 mph/80 km/h.

Other rides include the Bathtub, Europe’s highest flume ride, where you start going backwards, then hurtle forwards at an amazing 35 mph/60 km/h into the lake. Or go river rafting in a giant wash tub. Adventure and excitement are guaranteed.
Another highlight is the wildlife park: take the little train, and spot more than 130 animals. You can walk through the enclosures and see the fallow deer and other deer species up close. You can even feed and touch the animals.
