Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen

Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance was the birthplace of the airship. The story is told in this fascinating museum containing the world's largest and most comprehensive exhibition on the history and technology of airships in general and the Zeppelin in particular.

The main attraction is the reconstruction of part of the LZ 129, the legendary and ill-fated “Hindenburg.” Climb aboard this Silver Giant that stretches for 110 ft/33 m; walk inside the rooms and admire the glamor of a past era.
The museum displays not only the world’s largest exhibition on the history of aeronautics, but also houses an important collection of art from SouthWest Germany, from the late Middle Ages to the 20^th century.
