The Hochschwarzwald Golf Club was founded in 2001 and stretches through the spectacular Altental Valley. A large part of this beautiful valley and its adjacent tributary valleys are under conservation. Spectacular panoramic views and the beauty of the Black Forest create the perfect scenario for adventurous swings in an unforgettable environment.
The course, affectionately called “Himmlische Hölle” - heavenly hell, features a short training course for beginners and players who would like to warm up before the game. This practice course is available to everyone upon payment of a small range fee and includes the use of a driving range to practice long-distance tees and a pitch green. Additionally, there is also a putting green and six short courses. Everybody is eligible to play – you don’t have to be a club member or to possess a particular licence.
The Golf School offers a range of lessons: trial lessons, individual or group courses tailored for beginners, advanced and experts. You will find everything you need for the real golfer in the Pro-Shop: clothing, club sets, irons, woods, bags and much more. Here you can purchase a beginners’ starting kit or hire all the equipment necessary. Practice clubs can also be hired out in the Golf School for a small fee.
