Wieladingen castle ruins
Wieladingen Castle and its mighty keep – surely the most imposing feature of the present day ruins – crown a rocky promontory high above the Murgtal valley. The height of the keep is measured at 25 to 32 metres, depending on the method used. However, those who climb the tower tend to find the sight of the castle itself less absorbing that the view straight down into the chasm of the Murgtal valley.
