Car & Traktor Museum Lake Constance
The CAR & TRACTOR MUSEUM is an exciting museum with a total of 350 automobiles, motorcycles and tractors. The vehicles are integrated in a collection of number exhibits representing the development of country and town life in the last 100 years.

Tools, tech-nical implements, household appliances, doll's houses and also various workshops give visitors the feeling of stepping back in time. Different epochs in the last 100 years are shown with typical features in the areas of craft trades, agriculture, automobile and living.

years of urban and rural life. The CAR & TRACTOR MUSEUM is an

Life in the country
In the country life department, visitors can have an interesting stroll through an old farming village, past blacksmiths, shoemakers and barrel makers, to name but a few of the crafts, just as they existed in the past in every village. Of course the village also has an old school, a toyshop or a household goods shop with the first mechanical domestic aids such as the first pressure cookers or automatic apple peelers. The 200 tractors are the central theme in the exhibition. The complete history of tractors is shown chronologically interspersed with rare, exotic exhibits and models that have become legendary.
Town life
In the town life department, the tour takes visitors past well over 150 automobiles and mo-torcycles. As is generally known, the first vehicles looked like horse-drawn carriages. They were then followed by the elegant, large limousines of the 1920s and 1930s. The post-war period was characterised in particular by compact cars such as the Isetta or Goggomobil, which were then displaced in the 1960s and 1970s with increasing prosperity by larger ve-hicles.
