Drift lazily in Gondolettas on the Kutzerweiher, climb over the stones in the mountain stream and experience a real Chinese tea ceremony. In the Luisenpark (almost) everything is possible. A jungle in the middle of Mannheim? Why not? In the plant house, you can watch hundreds of species of colourful butterflies and go on safari. To keep the kids busy and entertained, you'll find plenty of themed playgrounds as well as the various animal areas. Guinea pigs, penguins, flamingos, the world's smallest crocodile and even mini sharks - there's loads for young minds to discover.
Top tip: Every evening during the spring, the "Winterlichtern" event transforms the park into a vibrant sea of lights of all shapes and colours. In the summer, you can enjoy the music offered by the "Seebühnenzauber" concert series with its stage in the middle of the lake.
