Whether Reinhard Mey, José Carreras, Bülent Ceylan or Die Ärzte - they have all been here at the CongressCentrum Pforzheim (CCP). The large event venue in the middle of Pforzheim's city center is the location for major events in the region.
The Great Hall alone can hold up to 2,000 spectators. In addition to congresses and conferences, cultural events such as musicals, guest performances, concerts and comedy are held here.
The CCP was opened in 1987 as a city hall and was at that time the long-awaited new building of the hall destroyed in the Second World War. A citizens' initiative fought for decades for this building after the Reuchlinhaus was built on the site of the Saalbau in Pforzheim's Stadtgarten, which today houses the Jewelry Museum, among other things.
Today, the CCP is the modern congress center in a central downtown location and with a direct hotel connection to the Parkhotel Pforzheim. It is the venue for nationwide congresses and conferences, for international and regional trade fairs, for social events and, of course, for cultural events of all kinds.
The CongressCentrum regularly hosts well-known artists and musicians, comedians or musical productions. And it is the concert venue of the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra Pforzheim (SWDKO).
Dates and tickets can be found in the CCP's calendar of events on its website and at all known ticket agencies.
