From 1894 to 1896 the Grand Ducal Baden District Court was established here. The architect and district building inspector Julius Koch from Heidelberg designed the clinker brick construction. The Baden coat of arms with the crown as a symbol of the Grand Duchy adorns the roof gable above the representative entrance portal and balcony.
