The cathedral on Rottenburg's market square forms the centre of the Swabian episcopal city, the centre of the parish of St. Martin and, above all, the centre of the diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart.
Anyone who enters the church, which was reopened in 2003 after three years of renovation, through the simple main portal enters a sacred space of light.
