This museum has many sides: In an exhibition space of over 1,400 sqm, you have an overview of the work of Edwin Scharff (1887-1955), born in New-Ulm and one of the leading sculptors of the first half of the 20th century, complemented by thematic temporary exhibitions. On the other hand, you also have works by the painter Ernst Geitlinger (1895-1972).
In addition, the art museum also has a children's gallery. This is the only children's gallery in Swabia and is a place were children can experiment by themselves and also learn new skills.
Closed from September 2016 - Autumn 2017 due to renovation.
