Just a 20-minute walk away from the bustling pedestrian area, you will find peace and beautiful views of the Old Town and the Merkur Mountain.

The grounds of the former garden exhibition of 1981 is nowadays a spacious landscaped garden.

There are no more flowerbeds but instead you will encounter a variety of trees and bushes which are fully blooming in spring time.

A popular photo motif at the „Hungerberg“ is the oversized magnifying glass, which allows you to take wonderful photos of the landscape and also of the old town. At the Fürstenberg monument you can take a short break to enjoy the view of the New Castle.

On the long stretched meadows you will also find your perfect picnic spot, which will be remembered for a long time especially in the cold winter months.
