Light on for art! The Kunsthalle Mannheim continues its 100-year history with its spectacular new building. The centerpiece of the "city within the city", which creates new perspectives with its open and light-flooded architecture, remains the internationally important collection. The Kunsthalle Mannheim accommodates the worldwide biggest collection of artwork by artist Anselm Kiefer.  With further major works by artists from Édouard Manet and Francis Bacon to William Kentridge and an outstanding sculpture collection, the Kunsthalle Mannheim is the leading light of the German museum world.
Top tip: Enjoy complimentary entry into the museum every first Wednesday of the month from 18:00 to 22:00 (MVV Kunstabend)!
