Since the construction of the Rosengarten in 1900, the imposing Festhalle on the Friedrichsplatz has enjoyed a reputation as an exceptional conference and cultural venue whose unique atmosphere can also be felt in today's m:con Congress Center Rosengarten. With 44 halls offering space for 9,000 guests and 8,000 square metres of exhibition space, the building's sheer numbers impress. But it is not just the largely preserved Art Nouveau façade, combined with modern materials and sophisticated technology, that makes a visit a memorable experience. This imposing building also stages a comprehensive programme of classical, pop and comedy shows.
Top tip: Enjoy shopping on three levels in the new Q6/Q7 centre, with over 65 brands represented. Alternatively, take your pick from the many gastronomic offers in Mannheim's "Fressgasse" (eating street). Both are just few minutes' walk from the Rosengarten, towards the city centre.
