The Mittelberg nature reserve is located south-east of Weil der Stadt and offers an excellent view of the districts of Weil der Stadt and Merklingen, as well as neighboring Simmozheim. In Weil der Stadt, the church of St. Peter and Paul is particularly eye-catching, while Merklingen is clearly recognizable by the tower of the fortified church. The Land.tour pathfinder offers a wonderful circular route through the nature reserve.
