When
it comes to room capacity or quality standards the Solebad salt caves
surely rank amongst the biggest and most modern ones of their kind in
all of Germany. The combination of Dead-Sea-salt, about 250
m-year-old pure crystal or „Himalaya“-salt, Bochneris-salt and
Schwäbisch Hall brine create an ideal wholesome micro climate with
their ingenious interaction. Visitors are greeted with relaxing music
on entering the cavernously designed rooms.
Walls
and ceilings are bathed in the soft light of salt lamps. Temperatures
are at pleasant 22° C – 24° C, the humidity is about 45 percent.
The floor is completely covered with Dead-Sea-salt and
Bochneris-salt, roughly hewn blocks of „Himalaya“-salt are piled
up at the walls. In the centre there is the calming splashing of the
fountain which is filled with Schwäbisch Hall brine, while
illuminated stone fountains and small graduation works filled with
blackthorn twigs help increase the salt concentration.
