Situated on the top of Württemberg hill, among the grape vines of Stuttgart, is one of Stuttgart’s and the region’s most romantic places: the sepulchral chapel.

The chapel with its round architecture can be seen from afar. It was built by King Wilhelm I from 1820-1824 and was meant to be a monument of eternal love for his wife Katharina, who had died at an early age. Today, the king rests in peace next to his beloved queen and their daughter Charlotte, who was also buried there.
The beautiful chapel is surrounded by a gorgeous view of Stuttgart and the hills covered with vineyards, calling for long walks.
