Description
This natural pool lies among the trees and meadows the idyllic Sulzbach valley. The naturally treated water invites visitors to swim and bathe as they please!
Children can splash about without a care in the world in the non-swimmers section that has earth and shingle beaches. A separate regeneration area naturally purifies the water through the self-cleaning power of aquatic plants while a cultivated terrace in natural surroundings completes the picture. The pool was designed and built by a group of local volunteers, members of an association called Naturbad Sulz.
It is the result of countless hours of their volunteer work as well as other donations, the Naturbad. Association has actively contributed to the creation of this Sulz natural pool. The natural pool was built by the city of Lahr and has been operated by this non-profit association since its opening in May 2003.
