The youth farm Schwarzach is an institution for open child and youth work with adventure, nature and animal education offers.
The corona pandemic makes some protective measures necessary: A maximum of 15 children are allowed to stay on the youth farm at the same time. Children can only visit the youth farm after registering by telephone. Registrations are possible in the morning from 10 a.m. for the afternoon, for Saturday from Friday at 10 a.m. Only healthy children without previous illnesses and without contact with corona infected people can participate. In order to ensure that no child belongs to the risk group, we have added the item "Pre-existing illnesses" to our registration form. Visitors who belong to a risk group can currently not visit the youth farm.

The youth farm is voluntary, without mandatory registration and free of charge - an open offer for everyone. Visitors can expect various offers, which give them the freedom to decide what they want to do on the pitch.
In addition, the outdoor class of the Schwarzbach School offers adventure days on the youth farm for groups and school classes.
Since the 2016 school year, parents have had the opportunity to have their children well looked after as part of all-day care from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
After class, the children are brought to the dining room of the Johannes-Diakonie by bus. There you will have a lunch of your choice (without pre-order) including dessert, in order to be supervised with your homework on the youth farm of the Johannes-Diakonie and to spend the midday playfully on the youth farm. The offer takes place in the primary school on Mondays.
On the youth farm Schwarzach there is ...
...many animals
The care of the animals is a daily task on the youth farm. Horses, donkeys, goats, rabbits and pigs can be discovered and observed while mucking, grooming, walking, riding, petting.
...nature and elements
Nature and elements can be experienced with all senses. There are different offers adapted to the seasons. A fireplace and a wood-burning stove, for example, encourage people to deal with the element of fire.
...a cottage-building village
Here everyone can build their own hut according to their ideas with hammer and nail. The hut-building village is also a place for role-playing games and get-togethers.
...offers to work
Craftsmanship with wood, metal, stone and other materials calls for creativity, skill, imagination and perseverance - and ultimately it's just fun.
…encounters and similarities
The youth farm is a meeting place for all people. It is a meeting place for common activities, for dealing with oneself and with others, a place where friendships develop and tolerance and appreciation can be tested and learned.
...holiday offers
Various holiday offers take place during the holidays. In addition to seasonal campaigns and creative offers, there are also projects and game campaigns on the agenda.
...creativity
There is a lot of room for creativity on a youth farm. In addition to numerous targeted creative offers with various elements and materials, you can also try out on your own. You can also experience the interrelationships of the environment up close when caring for the animals.
...play, movement, skill and courage
The hut building village offers many opportunities for climbing, catching and hiding, playing, balancing, jumping down and much more. There is little space to sit still on the youth farm - running across the square, climbing over fences, going for a walk and more is much more fun.
