The historic landmark known as the Brunnenweible (fountain maiden) takes centre stage in the middle of a fountain in front of the town hall (Rathaus). Just opposite is another point of interest, the Roman Catholic parish church, Unsere Liebe Frau (Our Dear Lady). This sacred monument in the neogothic style dates from 1868 and is said to be the largest church in northern Kraichgau. A particularly unusual cultural heritage site is the extensive Jewish cemetery in nearby Mühlbergwald, with its mausoleum just outside the Cemetery boundary to the north-west. Waibstadt is centrally situated and therefore an excellent starting point for walking and cycling tours. It has welldeveloped footpaths through woods and meadows, numerous little shelters, places for barbecuing as well as lots of benches, all of which add to the enjoyment of the time you spend here. The restaurants are great places to try out the wide range of local Baden cuisine.
