The approximately two-minute video is set to music and presents the wide range of vacation options in Baden-Württemberg. It is edited quickly and plays with proportions and different themes.
Our journey begins with a young man daydreaming in a hammock above an idyllic forest, surrounded by the gentle sound of wind and birdsong. A panoramic flight takes us over dense forests, where a woman observes majestic red deer through binoculars.
A butterfly dances through the air and hovers over the imposing Hohenzollern Castle with its pointed towers and massive stone walls. It sits enthroned high up on a mountain in the light mist.
Light carillon music accompanies us as hikers walk through the sun-drenched forests of one of our 10 nature parks and over a suspension bridge in a wild and romantic valley.
The lapping of the water and the increasingly intense piano music invite us to dream. We glide over the glistening Lake Constance, then the camera captures the sun shining through the trees of a mixed forest.
From a high vantage point, hikers look out over a wooded valley and majestic mountain peaks. A bird of prey soars and flies over a castle and a picturesque village surrounded by vineyards. A snail crawls leisurely up a tree trunk, while an elderly couple enjoy the view from a vineyard wall.
Mountain bikers cycle through the idyllic landscape. Lichtenstein Castle with its high round tower shines in the sunlight.
We immerse ourselves in idyllic village centers with half-timbered buildings and enjoy regional products such as plums, pears and apples on a lively, historic market square.
In the next scene, the culinary diversity of Baden-Württemberg is celebrated over a meal with friends.
While the grapes are being harvested, we toast with a glass of red wine. Young people enjoy the conviviality in a rustic parlor. Afterwards, the ballet dancers in a traditional cuckoo clock are transformed into Black Forest girls with Bollenhut hats. This is a flat straw hat with large red woolen pompons sewn onto it.
Then we see a man looking at an abstract painting of a break dancer in a modern gallery. We are enchanted by street art and an oversized butterfly on Stuttgart's television tower before a woman jumps headfirst into the water and dives across Stuttgart's Schlossplatz.
We visit the modern city library in Stuttgart, the Porsche Museum and the Cannstatter Wasen amusement park. Children play in the grass on a fairground, while a family wanders through the nature of Southwest Germany.
A waterfall gurgles, singing bowls resound. A woman meditates on a grassy hill. The back of a reclining woman is covered with a mud pack as the sun sets over the hills.
The man from the hammock walks hand in hand with a woman towards the setting sun. They embrace on the shore of a lake. The video ends with birdsong and the man in the swaying hammock above the valley.
The credits say: We are Southwest Germany - Baden-Württemberg.
