Thomas Quasthoff, one of the most important song interpreters of our time, now sings jazz. The world-renowned baritone is still active in classical music, as a singing professor and initiator of the competition "Das Lied". But on stage, besides recitations, jazz takes up most of his time. He last came to us in 2019 to celebrate his 60th, in a session with friends from the front row of German jazz musicians. This time, we congratulate him on his 65th and let the master himself have his say: "The only reason I sing jazz is that I enjoy it insanely. I don't need any more reasons than that."
