Celebrate with us! 25 years of the Festspielhaus will of course be celebrated festively. Joyce DiDonato, THE mezzo-soprano star from America, the orchestra of the Metropolitan Opera from New York and its chief conductor and good Festspielhaus friend Yannick Nézet-Séguin await you. The programme will be fantastic, in the truest sense of the word: Berlioz's "Symphonie fantastique" is on the programme, complemented by parts from Berlioz's opera "The Trojans". There is a hidden meaning in the programme selection: the French composer and romanticist invented the idea of the festival - and immediately tried it out in Baden-Baden.
