A Magic Flute in acclaimed English director Simon McBurney's thrilling vision, which the Wall Street Journal called "the best production I've ever seen of Mozart's opera". Nathalie Stutzmann conducts the Met Orchestra, raising the orchestra pit to make the musicians visible to the audience and allow them to interact with the stage. McBurney ignites a fireworks display of theatrical effects, incorporating projections, sound effects and acrobatics.
