The Waldhotel Forellenhof, steeped in history and famous on TV, has been reopened since December 2015 under new management. The tenant couple attaches great importance to a warm, personal and individual service, each guest should feel a bit at home. Attention to detail is reflected in the furnishings and decoration, without, however, overshadowing the historical and striking details.
The “Forellenhof” places great emphasis on cooperation with regional retailers. The traditional regional dishes are of very high quality and are all freshly prepared.
In the afternoon, guests can enjoy coffee and tea as well as homemade cakes and pies - a specialty is the Black Forest cake made by the tenant Mr. Vetter himself. The cosy restaurant with a fireplace invites you to linger in winter, while in summer the terrace, surrounded by nature and beautiful old trees, offers an pure relaxation.
Located directly alongside the panoramic trail, the Forellenhof offers all hikers the perfect stop over.
There is a mini-golf course that can be used by both hotel guests and visitors.

How to get there
The Restaurant Forellenhof can be reached by bus line 201. The bus stop "Oberbeuern is only about 300 meters away and the bus runs every 20 minutes during the day. For motorists coming from the motorway A5 follow the B500 direction Baden-Baden always straight forward, through the tunnel, until you reach "Oberbeuern". The restaurant is located on the right hand side in the middle of nature. There is sufficient parking on site.
