Description
In spring, along this trail between Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil and Nimburg, you will not only discover the emerald lizard at the foot of the Badberg and on the small terraces of the inner Kaiserstuhl, but also perhaps the bright blue kingfisher on ditches in the Dreisam lowlands. The wine cockerel, a type of cricket, makes hiking an acoustic experience on summer evenings. A hike on the Badberg is also very attractive in autumn. For then the Degenmatten lie in front of you in a bright golden yellow color - a dense carpet of the golden aster causes this late flowering splendour.
