Our tour takes us through the lively lakeside promenade to the beautiful Titisee. Along the rippling Gutach we pass grazing cows and the bathing paradise Titisee before we return to the starting point.
An ice cream on the lake promenade!
We start at the "Kurhaus Titisee" left towards the center. After crossing the zebra crossing, we come immediately to the right into the pedestrian zone. Here the colorful hustle and bustle of the "Seestraße" welcomes us, it is one of the most popular destinations in Germany. On the waterfront we enjoy a view over the beautiful lake, admire the paddling of the colorful boats and may be tempted to buy a typical Black Forest souvenir. Also, a boat trip with one of the cruise ships (barrier-free) would offer. We follow the "Seestraße" to the Hotel Maritim, here we turn left into the "Seebachstraße". Now there is a small slope, then we are rewarded with a wonderful view of the mountain of Titisee - the Hochfirst. On the left, the river Gutach accompanies us until we reach the railway underpass following "Seebachstraße". Here we see the Gutach now in all its beauty. We choose the turn to the left, we are greeted by a wide meadow where mostly some Black Forest cows graze peacefully. Follow the street until we meet another railway underpass and turn left into "Parkstraße" (direction railway station). Soon we meet on the right side the wide glass construction of the roof of the "Badeparadies Schwarzwald". We continue until we reach the "Fürstenbergweg" on the left. We follow this via the residential area of the "Jägerstraße" (with a view to the Feldberg massif) back to the starting point.
Note: The tour can now be combined with the barrier-free hike "Barrier-free through the Bruggerwald".
