German Clock Road - European Route of Industrial Heritage
The "German Clock Route" takes you through one of the most impressive landscapes in the Black Forest and the Baar. This holiday route is one of the most beautiful in Germany and was set up by a group of local towns, museums and companies.
One route dedicated to clocks! On the 267-kilometre route, which runs from the central Black Forest through the southern Black Forest to the Baar region, visitors can learn all about Black Forest clockmaking.

Beschreibung
The German Clock Route leads along a beautiful route through 25 towns in the Black Forest and the Baar region and has been designated a European Route of Industrial Heritage. The route passes well-known museums such as the German Clock Museum in Furtwangen and the Clock Industry Museum in Villingen-Schwenningen. However, smaller museums such as the monastery museum in St. Märgen or the various town museums are also worth a visit and explain the origins and history of the Black Forest clock.
