Description
The Löwenpfad "Höhenrunde" in Bad Ditzenbach is a hiking loop trail certified by the German Hiking Association.
The 10.8-kilometres-long tour in Bad Ditzenbach starts at the hiking car park at Haus des Gastes. From there it takes you to the high-altitude tour in the Upper Fils valley with fascinating views as you continue along the Albtrauf. Starting off the path, we recommend a visit to the ruins of Hiltenburg castle on the Schlossberg. The most beautiful observation points are on the Tierstein and on the Oberberg rock at over 730 meters. Barbecue and rest facilities can be found at the Aimer hiking car park.
