In true original Mannheim style, namely by bicycle, this tour starts from the Tourist Information Office at Central Station and first heads east: through Schwetzingerstadt to the impressive Art Nouveau square at Friedrichsplatz with the city’s landmark historic water tower. The model of the Benz motor car is also here – another Mannheim invention in the mobility field and a worthy subject for a photo break. The route continues past the buildings of the Oststadt, dating from the time of the city’s founding, and then, heading west, on to the last stage of the Neckartal bike path and through the squares to the end point of the journey – the impressive baroque palace.
This tour can also be booked in German, French, Spanish and Russian.
