The SCULPTOURA presents itself as a successful synergy of art and nature - an "open-air gallery" between Waldenbuch and Weil der Stadt, which invites you to an extraordinary voyage of discovery in the district of Böblingen.
Besides inspiring art and culture you will get to know the Schönbuch and the spacious Heckengäu.
The approx. 40 km long main route with numerous artworks runs along a section of the signposted "Museumsradweg".
The SCULPTOURA is also well marked with the square SCULPTOURA sign in both directions and offers charming views of the numerous works of art and the scenery worth seeing from every direction.

Wegbeschreibung
The main route (From Waldenbuch to Weil der Stadt) The tour starts in the historic city center of Waldenbuch in the castle yard and nearby the townhall and the St. Veit church. You leave Waldenbuch towards the "Museum Ritter" and follow the Aich river and the valley of the Aich ,past the "obere Raumühle", to Schönaich. Near the "Wolfenmühle" the Sculptoura crosses the road K1048 and follows the stream "Krähenbach" in the south of Schönaich until reaching the road K1048. After crossing the K1048 the tour leads alongside the road towards Holzgerlingen, past the "untere Mühle" and through Holzgerlingen where it goes across a bigger road B464 nearby the train station. After that your way continues to the water tower of Altdorf which should easily be seen from some distance. For a short way you have to follow the "Maurener Straße"northwords before you turn left (ere the road leads down) to the farm track, which guides you along the edge of the plateau of Altdorf to the "Altdorfer Mühle". Just after the "Aldorfer Mühle" the Sculptoura turns into the "Würmtal", where you will pass "Mauren", underpass the autobahn A81 and reach Ehningen. Here you have to cross the road K1001 (at the crossroads near the sports field and the cemetery) and go throught Ehningen. Behind Ehningen and near the Sawmill Ehningen the route follows again the "Würmtal" and the road K1001 till Aidlingen. After crossing the road K1066 at the western village outskirts of Aidlingen you continue following the "Würmtal", always with the Würm to your left and the forest to your right, till you reach the "Stegmühle" between Granefau-Dätzingen und Grafenau-Döffingen. The next part of the tour is some kind of a little detour, cause the way leads us through Dätzingen to the castle of Dätzingen with the Schlichtmaier gallery and the sculpture garden. From the castle of Dätzingen you have to drive back through the village towards Döffingen and cross the road L1189 to the "Ölmühle". Now, the tour runs parallel to the Würm to Schafhausen, and leaves that village after crossing the L1189 near the cemetery in direction to Weil der Stadt. The Sculptoura reaches Weil der Stadt after passing by the Käpplesberg and the Mittelberg and ends finally at the townsquare / market square.
