Beschreibung
This tour leads from northern Baden-Württemberg via the state capital and Breisgau to Lake Constance. Consisting of a total of four stages, the entire tour is over 800 km long and shows the best that the south of the wine-growing region has to offer in terms of architectural highlights. The tour links all 30 winners of the “Wine & Architecture” award. The award was created by the TMBW together with the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects. Whether winery, vinotheque or viewpoints in the middle of the vineyards - they all combine wine, tourism and architecture in a special way.
From the starting point in Weikersheim, the route heads towards Heilbronn via Weinsberg. After a few stops at outstanding wineries, a wine information pavilion awaits visitors in Besigheim. Further stops follow in Hessigheim, Korb, Großheppach, Weinstadt, Winterbach and Kernen, before heading to the wine museum in Stuttgart. From here, the route leads to the Weber winery, the Abril winery and on towards Kaiserstuhl and Freiburg. The route ends in Nonnenhorn on Lake Constance, where you can review the journey over a glass of wine.
