The tour is short in terms of distance and rich in excursion destinations along the way. It is worth planning enough time to discover and experience and easily spend a whole day in Hechingen. At the beginning it is worth to park the bike at the fairy tale path and walk a round. The figures from the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm make every child's heart beat faster. At Lindich Castle, a pizzeria with a beautiful outdoor area invites you to take a break. Continuing along the path, always looking towards Hohenzollern Castle, which we are approaching, we reach the crossroads just before Hechingen.
We can either pedal up to Hohenzollern Castle and enjoy the magnificent view and castle grounds or make a detour to the Hofgut Domäne. There is not only a beer garden, but also a petting zoo with a small playground and a miniature golf course.
In the center of Hechingen, the cafés invite you for a refreshment, but also the erleb-dich-path is within easy reach and an adventure for your feet!
If you still have time at the end of the tour, you can refresh yourself in Hechingen's open-air swimming pool with its large sunbathing lawn and great children's area

Exact directions can be found on the German website.
Our bike paths are signposted according to the statewide FGSV bike path signs.
At intersections, there are large white directional signs that list destinations with distance information in green lettering.
Between the directional signs there are smaller, square markers indicating a bike path.
Our circular routes are attached to the large directional signs at junctions as slide-in signs with the appropriate symbol (mammoth, ammonite, crown, etc.).
In between, the symbol is not to be found. The general cycle path signs apply here.
Attention, do not turn the wrong way! At the large directional signs, be sure to look for the green arrow. This shows us the way! Not the cardinal direction in which the sign is attached.
