Author's recommendation
In the forest one meets again and again on nimble squirrels.
Directions
We start at the "Kurhaus Titisee" direction exit and turn right into the "Alte Poststraße". In a few minutes we reach the Catholic Church "Christkönig" (open daily), which has a barrier-free side entrance on the right long side.
We follow the "Alte Poststraße", which leads us directly into the "Brugger forest". After a while we reach the idyllic "Eisweiher". Here you can follow the traces of the beaver. He has chosen the "Eisweiher" as a construction site for his new home.
Now we follow the path straight ahead until we meet a forest clearing. We turn left onto the turning forest road and enter again the "Brugger forest". We follow the louder and louder rippling and cross the romantic "Sägebach". After a short while we come to a left turn. We do not follow this, but stay on our tour straight downhill slightly. We are in the so-called Squirrel Forest. Again and again we meet the nimble animals, who are happy about nuts. Shortly before the forest clearing, we follow the path to the right and go towards the water trading pool. We cross the street by the pool and come to the spa garden. The path takes us along beautiful flower beds to the shore of Lake Titisee with beautiful views of the lake. We leave the spa garden via a very short but steep ascent and go right along the lakeshore until we reach the restaurant "Bootshaus", a very nice wooden house. Here we do not go towards the underpass, but choose the path on the left, which leads us back to the "Kurhaus".
