1st largest cuckoo clock in the world
The builder and clockmaker Josef Dold had an idea. He built a cuckoo clock as big as a small Black Forest cottage. Inside this clock, he built a huge handmade wooden cuckoo clockwork. The cuckoo appears every full and half hour.

Description
The world's first largest cuckoo clock is located in the Schonach Untertal in the Black Forest and was built by clockmaker Josef Dold and his family over a two-year period.
Its clockwork is 3.60 meters long, 3.10 meters high and 1 meter deep. Made entirely of wood, it is a testament to the great craftsmanship and precise calculations that it required. 50 times larger than an ordinary cuckoo clock, it invites visitors to take a look inside.
