The main topics of wood crafts, weaving and textile crafts, gold and silversmithing as well as The Alamanni as the first Christians in Southern Germany are particularly deepened, with research results, some of which are presented to the public for the first time.
In addition to numerous original archaeological finds, the Alamannenmuseum also features full-scale stagings of various Alamannic life situations, interactive media with screens and moving images, as well as numerous exhibition elements for visitors to touch and participate in.
Also integrated into the museum concept is the museum garden with the medieval St. Nicholas Chapel behind it, for example with a reconstructed granary from Lauchheim and a vegetable garden from the Alamanni period.
