The Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg wine regions are a paradise for vacationers who want to combine cycling and enjoyment. Predominantly flat routes lead along vineyards, through orchards and secluded winegrowing villages or in the shady Rheinauewald forest.
In the villages, wineries and cellars, inns and wine taverns tempt visitors to stop for a bite to eat. With open cellars, the Kaiserstühl winegrowers' cooperatives also invite you to visit on weekends from Easter to the beginning of November, and during the same period there are countless rustic wine festivals. There are several bed+bike hotels in the region and cycling packages are offered in various towns.
