An oasis for people and animals

Our terrace garden, from which you have a wonderful view of the Überlinger See and the mountains, was planned by us in 2010 and laid out by hand over the years. We garden 100% organic right from the start.

In the upper area, our 60sqm natural pool with regeneration zone connects directly to a 65 sqm large wooden terrace made of local woods, framed by our romantic scented garden in which there are numerous scented roses, scented bushes, exotic species such as silk tree, Chinese. Losbaum, Sieben Sons des Himmelsstrauch, Franklinia, various scented magnolias, perennials, cypresses, box hedges, and over 80 boxwood balls are located.

On the lower terrace we have created a small kitchen garden which gives us plenty of presents all year round.
For the insects there is an "insect hotel" and numerous insect-friendly perennials and shrubs such as columbine, lavender, sage and beehive.

We have placed numerous nesting boxes for different species of birds in the garden. 3 families of sparrows nest directly at the house. We feed all year round.

Our property is bordered on one side with a bird protection hedge made from various native shrubs, on the other sides formal hedges such as thuja, fast-growing Leyland cypress and yew trees.
