The farmers museum is located in the half-timbered house "Altes Schafhaus" built in 1786. This was built by the municipality of Eutingen on what was then the field path to Kieselbronn in order to keep sheep there. Since 1983 the historical building contains the rural museum.
This shows the work and life of a farming family. Where sheep once stood, many agricultural implements are used to illustrate the topics of soil cultivation, Saar and harvesting, and animal husbandry. On the upper floors, the visitor learns what kept the farmers busy on a daily basis: baking, slaughtering, milk processing as well as a kitchen equipped with decorative "Ofenwandplättle". At the very top under the roof, you can also watch the current inhabitants of the house, a busy bee colony, at work behind glass.
On special days, visitors can get up close and personal with butter churning in the butter churn or the work of the beekeeper.
