Beschreibung
Successful and enjoyable running is decided in the legs on the one hand and in the head on the other. Acquiring the best possible basic endurance through systematically interspersed long runs and building up mental strength by tackling what at first sight appear to be never-ending long straights go hand in hand in this development.
Our circuit through the Hardtwald, which covers the entire width between the two motorways BAB5 and BAB6 and leads once around the entire Hockenheimring and back again, offers ideal terrain for ambitious runners to get enough distance under their feet without unnecessary repetitions on the one hand, and to benefit from the variety of different terrain formations on the other.
Certainly the most dramatic change of the tour is offered about halfway around the total distance by circling the Hockenheimring. The ultra-modern event site has undergone plenty of structural adjustments since it was first commissioned in 1932, making it suitable not only for motorsport but also for cultural events such as open-air concerts and even races.
After the encounter with the world of technology, we dive back into the Hardtwald, where the last wonderful long straights await us with the Ketscher Weg, the Fuhrmannsweg and the Grünhausweg. The 1st avenue finally leads us back to Oftersheim.
