Description
This path leads out of the old Fischbach centre through the surrounding countryside, more like a walk than a hike. It runs through the park-like valley of the Brunnisach into the enchanting small landscape around the Eichenmühle. The extensive walk leads along agricultural paths as far as Kluftern and back again with views of the lake and the Alps. Despite the impairments caused by the bypass road, which has been cutting through the once coherent cultivated land since 2021, it has remained a thoroughly charming loop.
Author's recommendation
Near the starting point there is a farm shop and an organic market as well as a bakery to provide yourself with a snack or picnic or to reward yourself with a coffee/cocoa and a piece of cake after the tour.
In 2021, the Fischbach and Manzell technical-historical circular trail was established.
