Description
On the hike, you can enjoy beautiful views and the pure, soothing Black Forest air.
Author's recommendation
After the hike, be sure to visit the water treading area "An der Steig" in Saig and refresh your tired feet. You will find it past the "Haus des Gastes", following the road down towards the "Kuhle(h)rpfad".
Directions
You start your tour at the "Haus des Gastes" in Saig. From here, cross "Titiseestraße" and follow the "Hochfirstweg" uphill. Keep straight ahead and you will reach the "Turmweg", which takes you up to the "Waldhotel". Here you turn right into the sparse forest and continue to follow the yellow rhombus towards the "Marienkreuz".
Breathe in the refreshing, spicy air in the forest before heading out into the sun again. Once you reach the "Mariannensäule", take the small path along the edge of the forest towards "Vitenhof".
From there, you can enjoy the wonderful view over the surrounding hills and mountains before turning sharply to the right and reaching the Vitenhof at the bottom. Here you follow the blue diamond back towards Saig, past the pastures and meadows. At the viewing point on the "Vitenhofweg", you can take a break and enjoy the warm rays of the sun once again while you have a sweeping view over Saig and the surrounding hills. When you reach the first houses, follow the blue rhombus to the left into the village and then follow the yellow rhombus back to the Haus des Gastes.
Equipment
We suggest hiking boots!
