Starting at the Mannheim Baroque Palace, the air-conditioned coach heads off towards the water tower and passes the beautiful Art Nouveau complex on the Friedrichsplatz. From the palace you head through the Oststadt district, which is characterised by the magnificent 19th century villas of the former merchant families. As you pass the Luisenpark, the cityscape slowly changes and you reach the telecommunications tower. A lift takes you to the viewing platform, where you can enjoy a breath-taking view far beyond the borders of Mannheim. From there, the tour takes you to the Neckarstadt district and to the harbour, eventually ending at the Jesuit Church, the former grand court church of Elector Charles Theodore.
