Starting point is Bad Urach, from where the tour take you onto the “Swabian Alb”. For your efforts you will be rewarded with amazing views over the Erms Valley. After the climb at the beginning, the tour continues to Grabenstetten and Böhringen. Just befor Seeburg you leave the plateau of the Swabian Alb and follow the river Erms back to Bad Urach.

Leave Bad Urach through the „Elsachsiedlung“ towards Grabenstetten. After the campsite “Pfählhof” turn left into the “Mariental” and later the “Kaltental”. After around 2 km begins the ascend onto the Swabian Alb towards Hülben. On the plateau just befor the “Burrenhof” you get to the “Heidegraben”. Befor you reach Grabenstetten the way continues via Strohweiler to Böhringen. Römerstein-Zainingen is the highest point of the tour. From Zaingen continue East to the villages Hengen and Wittlingen, which are part of the city of Bad Urach. After Wittlingen the tour takes a steep descend towards Seeburg. From Seeburg back to Bad Urach it is a relaxed way along the river Erms.
